Yes; this is correct. Future Window-Eyes updates through the Office offer
will be free. This includes major point upgrades, such as WE 8.4 to 9.0
when the latter is made available. Upgrades to the retail edition will
continue to be offered at a price or will count against an SMA if you have one.

It makes sense to me that if you purchase Office 2010 today, you get your
Window-eyes v8.4 today free and maybe v8.5 and v8.6 should these be
created. But if you purchase Office 2010 today, why should you get
Window-eyes v9.0 when it comes out in (for example) 12 months, when those
of us have paid for our Office v9 through our SMAs.
Those of us who purchase Window-eyes are directly paying for its ongoing
development. Those who purchase Office and get all of their Window-eye
versions free are not expressing their loyalty to Gw Micro.
