Hi Dennis:
I have used Windows Live Mail for a few years now. I find some
similarities to Outlook Express, but you will also find some
diferences. Depending on how you use email, these may or may not
efect you verry much. For instance, If you want to move messages from
one folder to another, which I do quite often to keep my inbox from
being cluttered, control-shift-v may not work for you. In that case,
press alt-f, then o, then i and you will get the list of folders, then
highlight the folder you want to move the message to and press the
Enter key. There may be a few other details like that but they are
not hard to learn.
Window-eyes may have a problem when you are editing a message, somehow
it loses track of where you are in the message so trying to insert or
delete a chunk may be a disaster because you may be inserting or
deleting the wrong text, although, I find that this has improved since
WE 8.4. My work-around for this problem has been to temperarily
unload WE and load NVDA. I understand, however, that this may be
something that you may not want to do, but it works for me and it
works flawlessly.
Anyway, I hope this post has been of some help to you.
