For XP and 32 bit Vista, 7, and 8 you would remove the (x86).
32 bit operating systems use program files.

Hi Chris,
I think Juan has the experience of getting blanks for the filename
fields when Themes get changed.
Here's my fix. To make it easier to input the filenames back where
they were, I made a list of the full paths to each sound file. This
way, all you have to do is press the browse button for each event
under Window-Eyes, and, in the filename field, just paste the full
path name to the file you need. Here's the list of paths for each
Window-Eyes sound event, for Windows 7 anyway; for XP, you would have
to remove the " (x86)". Jus paste the lines below into a file and
hang onto it for future situations where you have to re-insert them:
Browse mode On:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\GW Micro\Window-Eyes\bm_in.wav"
Browse mode Off:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\GW Micro\Window-Eyes\bm_out.wav"
New browser window background:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\GW Micro\Window-Eyes\nbrowseb.wav"
New browser window foreground:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\GW Micro\Window-Eyes\nbrowsef.wav"
Shutdown Window-Eyes:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\GW Micro\Window-Eyes\we_shutdown.wav"
Startup Window-Eyes:
"C:\Program Files (x86)\GW Micro\Window-Eyes\we_startup.wav"
As for an app which does this, I would have to study the Registry
object in the GW Toolkit. Maybe it's easier to ask GW Micro to write
the code, since their installation procedure for Window-Eyes does this
anyway.
All the best,
Rod

Hi,
Can this be done just by making the changes and saving the theme
under a different name.
I just did it with sound schemes and it worked.
Chris is the normal windows sounds and Chris 1 is the cityscape both
have the Window-eyes start up and shutdown sounds enabled.
Switching between those work for me and retain the WE start
up/shutdown sounds.

hi, was wondering if an app can be created to restore the sounds for
window-eyes the reason I am requesting for such an app is I am
somebody who tends to change my theme from high contrast to normal
all of the time and every time I do this window-eyes loses its
sounds. I do not like having to keep going back and reassigning the
sounds all of the time I do this. hopefully somebody can look into
this please.
