A bit more on this nice to have: in Windows 7 volume control there are mute check boxes for each running application as well as individual volume controls. I don't know if it is important for Window-eyes to make sure that the system volume is not set to mute, the window-Eyes volume or both. This also holds true for the volume settings for each of the two.
