Good morning; I had been following the conversations on the outlook 2010 and not being able to use the open message in browser.; issues.
I remembered that the Outlook Enhanced app page mentions that there are three things that need to be downloaded to make the most of the app. I thought I had them saved from when I tried to get this to work on the win 7 OS. I am unable to install two out of three of the recommended programs listed on the page for Outlook Enhanced app. http://www.gwmicro.com/App_Central/Apps/App_Details/?scriptid=1332 The first one listed will not install because it says that I need Net dot frame work 3.5 before I can install this program. Microsoft Visual Studio Tools for the Microsoft Office system (version 3.0 Runtime) I also can't install the third one the system already has a version installed with the system and it is greater than the standalone program. Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Standalone Installer) This is a windows 8.1 machine. How do I resolve this issue? It seams like I need a piece that is missing. Confused because the dot net frame work is higher than what the visual studio tools says it requires. How do you get this to install if the one with the system is already higher than what it wants? All of this is to be able to read the html messages in IE instead of the Word like interface. Any ideas are welcome.
