Just to clarify, the Insert Key Layout and JAWS Quick Key are two different things. The Insert Key Layout modifies hot keys so that they are familiar to JAWS users while the JAWS Quick Key app enables a user to press a JAWS key and hear the Window-Eyes equivalent. We will be discussing this tomorrow in our free online training for those who are new to Window-Eyes and transitioning from another screen reader. Details available at gwmicro.com/events.

This will activate the Jaws keyboard layout. Press it again to turn it off when you want to go back to the default Window-Eyes layout. hth, Rod On 1/21/14 12:04 PM, Larry Lumpkin wrote: I am transitioning from jaws and am trying to use the jaws quick key but it is not working for me.
