Hello, Heewon Chun.
Are you referring to the sound sequence of a bird chirping followed by a
soft clap of thunder? If so, these are the sounds that the TB Enhanced
app makes when the hot keys is uses are ready. The TB Enhanced app is
loaded to make Thunderbird work better with Window-Eyes. If you want to
disable these sounds, please follow these steps:
1. Press "Control-backslash" to bring up the Window-Eyes control panel.
2. Press "Alt-A" to bring focus to the app area.
3. Press down arrow until you hear "TB Enhanced, pull-down." Press
"Enter."
4. Press down arrow until you hear "play sound when hotkeys are ready,
checked." Press "Enter" to disable this option.
5. Press "Escape" to leave the Window-Eyes control panel.
Note that the TB Enhance app will still work as expected. Only the bird
and thunder sounds will be disabled.

Hi, all!
I am a new Thunderbird user, and have a question for you.
I keep getting a sound signal from Thunderbird. Why do I get it? And how
can I get rid of it?
Thanks for your help in advance!
