If anyone can guide me in using the built in Windows 7 search features, I would
appreciate that. I've had difficulty configuring Windows 7 to do what I need.
Just using Ctrl-F, I can't determine how to search through the contents of
files. I can search for text in filenames, but not file contents. Performing a
search from the start menu doesn't seem to allow me to search external drives,
even after adding a drive through the indexing configuration.

Also, I wonder if any on the list have found a good, Window-Eyes friendly
search utility. More than searching for characters in filenames, I would like
to search across drives for contiguous and noncontiguous strings of text inside
files.

Thanks in advance.
