There's already a solution. Although it's been so long since I used it I
tested it and discovered a side-effect, which I can't remember if it's
intentional or not. So I reported it to GW.
If you have a backup synthesizer assigned just hold down the left Shift
key while rebooting or reloading Window-Eyes and that synthesizer will
be activated.
The side-effect I discovered is that for some reason it changes App
status from On to manual. So it's no big deal. Just use the Insert-7 App
status rotor hot key to turn apps back on, or, open the Window-Eyes
control panel, Alt-A Apps, App management, App status, and reset it to On.
