Hi Guys: I am going to get a new computer. Likely intel based Windows 8.1 64 bit Desktop for project development in Visual Studio, Web Matrix and Sql Server Management Studio along with other MS Products. using IE and perhaps Outlook after installation. I will want to automatically boot to desktop and have the start menu available and as much of the charming tabs and other visually active stuff as possible disabled. First, when installing Windoweyes is there an option to setup the computer in "Classic" Desktop mode - this is pretty much a matter of just setting some properties in Windows 8.1 so I would imagine doable at load time for Windoweyes. Second, after I turn on the computer for the first time can I make it talk using the default Microsoft speech option and then download Windoweyes using the default speech? Is there a tutorial on doing these things? New Microsoft Partner, new Microsoft enabled Features? Getting a new computer is scarry due to accessibility problems out of the gate including setting up a internet network via my router before I can even do e-mail or go online to get help if I get stuck.
