HI guys
I've been with WindowEyes almost two weeks, thanks to the GwMicro/Microsoft Global Initiative, and it's great! 1.-Much more responsive than Jaws especially in Thunderbird in moving through the folders, in reading EMails etc. 2.-The mouse function: it's very very intuitive! So much so that after 15 years of using PCs, I was able to put the mouse pointer on an item, and physically left-click with my mouse button! Wow! 3.-It seems as if WindowEyes via apps, suggest them, thus it's the decision of the user if he/she wants to implement these functions, whereas with the Shark, they'll come bundled up. What I'm trying to get at is that the Shark wants to bundle more than just the screen reader functions, however with WindowEyes, in essence you have the screen reader functions, but via apps, if you want to incorporate more extra functions, it's up to yu.
