Hi,
The answer to your first question is, its totally up to you. If you see
yourself needing to create sets or apps then go for it, if not, then
don't worry about it.
The answer to your second question is, you'd need to change the
verbosity setting for having Window-eyes not reading a dialog.
1. If you are not in advanced options, from within the Window-eyes
control panel, press alt-h, then arrow down to show advanced options and
press enter.
2. arrow to verbosity and press the right arrow.
3. down arrow to common and press right arrow.
4. down arrow to activated and press tab to move to "read entire
message boxes, the item is set to yes, arrow to no.
5. tab to read entire dialogs, the item is set to yes, arrow to no.
You can then alt-tab away and see if you like the setting, if you like
the setting then alt-tab back to the window-eyes control panel and press
control-s to save.

Hi,
I'm glad this list exists.
I have two general questions.
First, If I have never created set files, should I do that, or make
apps, assuming I can learn to do that.
Second: How do I make Window-eyes stop reading a whole dialog every
time I open it?
And finally, I have an almost brand new copy of Window-eyes. I have
changed a few key strokes and downloaded the latest GWTools app and
Skype connect. Other than that, all I have changed so far have been
synthesizer, volume, and speed.
Thanks.
Jim
