the only times I've seen this kind of issue is when the preview pain is
open. I am not sure if Windows xp has this feature or not. I haven't used xp
in so long. maybe somebody else may be able to help with this.

Dear All,
Some of you may remember my problem with Windows Explorer freezing
when switching between folders. A list member emailed me privately
and suggested that I exit Window-Eyes and relaunch the program as a
possible remedy for the freezing. I am happy to report that the idea
has so far been effective in every instance of the problem.
What i would like to now establish is whether this brings us any
closer to understanding the root of the problem. Is there a
particular configuration in Windows Explorer (on XP Pro SP3) that
might react badly to Windoweyes or vice versa?
