If you remember the DOS command-line, and are comfortable working with it, there is a free, more powerful, version of Xcopy, here:

Also, I use Mozy.com as a very reasonably-priced online backup service, at:

http://www.mozy.com

Finally, DropBox, another online backup service, can do the trick, at:

https://www.dropbox.com
