If you are comfortable with editing the Windows Registry, there is the hard way to do things. You can start RegEdit, and then do a search for the program name, that you want to uninstall. When found, hit the Delete, and the registry entry for that key will be deleted. Note that one and same program may have a hundred entries or more, so it is a hard way, and time consuming, to get rid of a stupid software. Yet, in a couple of cases, that has been the only way for me to get rid of some badly constructed software. It tells a whole lot about the manufacturer, when his software cannot simply be removed from the system.

I even found - in one case - that deleting the first few entries in the Registry for a given software, and then closing RegEdit, I could run things like CCleaner, or Error Expert to remove the rest of the entries. First the Registry had been cleaned out, and the computer got restarted, it was possible to manually remove the files and folders for the software.

Don't have any experience with the software you are troubled by at the moment, but hope some of the many feedbacks you have got, may happen to prove helpful. Sometimes you just have to fight the computer for a number of times, using several tools, and a good amount of fantacy as to what you possibly can do to get rid of things.

Interesting! I got my copy through
http://www.ninite.com
so I don't know if you got it somewhere different, but the ninite version
works really well, it displays all the programs you have installed when you
start it up.

If you got your copy somewhere other than ninite, give the ninite version a
try.
Ninite is really cool, it lets you install all kinds of programs in the
background, you won't have to quit hitting next button after next button and
agreeing to license terms and all that sort of thing.
When you first visit the home page, you'll see a whole bunch of check boxes withdifferent programs names next to them. One of them should be revo. So
check that box, and if you go down to near the bottom of the page you'll
find a get installer button. Hit that, and on the next page you'll find a
link for your installer. It'll be called Ninite revo installer.exe, or
something very similar.

Just run the ninite installer and when its done, hit the close button and
off you go. Even nicer is the fact that when a new version of a program
comes out, just run the ninite installer again and it'll update the program all by itself. I hope this works for you, i know how frustrating it can be
when one person sees a program acting a certain way but it's totally
different for you.

It probably isn't the most intuitive program ever made, but in a
normal situation it's like a wizzard process.

1. find the program you want to uninstall in a list of programs that
first comes up when you start the program.

2. Right click on the program in question and choose uninstall and
press enter.

3. Now it's time to choose the level at which revo uninstaller does
its job. you have 3 modes basic, medium and advanced. I always
choose advanced because some programs love to leave registry entries
and little traces of themselves everywhere.
These are radio buttons, so just choose the appropriate one.

4. Hit the next button and Revo will go to work and uninstall your
program, so sit back for a minute or two.

5. This is when the fun really starts. After you hit the next
button, Revo will display a number of left over files and registry entries
from
the program. hit the tab key and you should find a select all
button, and a delete button. so first hit select all, followed by
delete. You'll get a warning asking if you really want to do this?
Answer yes. It'll then delete any files left over. Now depending on
how the program is, it may next ask you to delete registry entries,
this is the same as left over files. Don't worry, this is safe to do
because it only deletes the registry entries that are for the
application you're uninstalling, it won't delete anything else but
that. So do the select all and delete thing again and answer yes.
Sometimes, you might even see a screen that just has a tree view, but
it has nothing displayed. In that case just do what you would normally
do and hit select all and delete and that'll do it. After all that is
done revo will display a dialogue with a finish button.
Hit that, and you're done. you can then delete another program or
close the program it's up to you.

I hope this helps explain things a bit better.

Hey guys,
I don't know who uses this revo uninstaller program, but it doesn't
get good accessibility reviews on my end, so far it's terrible.
Anyone have time to get on skype? This ringcentral program is just
refusing to uninstall and it makes no sense. I've faught with this
thing for the last 2 hours.
The uninstall program that came with it won't even work, it can't
find an uninstall.log. So what do I do?
I even tried deleting the folder in program files x86, and that
won't even work.
