I have been using some Sharepoint sites at my office the past few months. My
access is only to download documents. The creators of these pages were not
sophisticated so they left a lot of the clutter on the screen that I'm told
could have been avoided -- functions we are not using. Mainly we are using the
site for one team to share out documents with a wide number of people across
the corporation. To make it simple on myself, I found the page where the
documents are and bookmarked that. The documents are then presented in a table
format. My pages have lots of uploaded documents, so there is an arrow at the
bottom labeled as "Next" to move to the next table of results.

When I first load one of the Sharepoint pages, I hear something about a link to
turn on more accessible mode and some keyboard commands, but I haven't' found
them to work as I'd expect. I prefer to use Insert Tab to bring up the links
dialog box and scroll that way or to hit T to take me to the table of
documents. I can use the find command to find documents, route the pointer
there, then use the application key to download the document. Since my teams
haven't had me upload documents to Sharepoint, I don't know how this works with
WE.

I have also been granted access to create my own site, but I have not had time
to try it yet.

I'm running WE 8.4 and using, (don't laugh), Internet Explorer 8 here at work.

Subject: A question about sharepoint

Greetings.
Has anyone used the Sharepoint web page with Window-eyes with any degree
of success?
If you have you may have used Firefox.
I can navagate a one drive account, this used to be Skydrive, but
wondered about an actual sharepoint page.
If anyone has done this what are your tips and work arounds?
Kenneth Son.
