I've been having the following problem with Window-Eyes, and it's been happening since I purchased it two years ago. As time goes on, Window-Eyes is getting more and more sluggish on the Computer screen when I move files on a drive or between drives. Eventually Windows Explorer crashes, and I have to reboot. I'm using the latest version of Window-Eyes on a Windows 7 64 bit HP laptop. I called GW Micro, and was told that the problem could be related to two things. I was using one of the Vocalizer voices, and I'm transferring between an internal and external drive. I switched the voice back to Elloquence, but this didn't change anything. This problem is serious enough to make me use a different screen reader. It's too bad, because I like the keyboard interface of Window-Eyes, as well as the apps in it.
