Hi Allen,

I'm not sure whether you're using Vista or Windows 7 or Windows 8, but, on my Windows 7 machine, if you go to the Start menu, and do a search for UAC, you will get the dialog where you can set the level of protection. WE will not announce UAC prompts properly if you have it set to Dim My Desktop. On my machine, the slider is set to 1 of 3, meaning I will be warned when programs are asking to make changes to my system, which is what I want, but I don't want the desktop dimmed.

hth,

Rod

This morning I had went to do my computer maintenance, and when the UAC came up, all I heard was the chime. WE did not ask if I wanted to let the program to make changes, so I could pick yes or no.

I have read through some of the manual, but I may have missed that area.

Is there a way to get WE to read after the chime, so I can let the UAC know, yes or no?
