Pat: Your message did indeed make it to the list, but one of two things is happening here, or perhaps both at once. Either the membership on this list (including those who run it) don't know the answer to your questions, or, those who do know won't answer because they think the topic isn't appropriate for this list or just flat out don't give a damn whether you get the answers you need or not. I posted the exact same question two or three days ago and no one answered me either. A good friend of mine who is on this list told me not to expect one, either. Perhaps the Tek-Time list has people who are willing and able to help us. Jon ----- Original Message ----- From: "Pat Ferguson" <[email protected]>

Subject: My message regarding Importing the contacts from Outlook Express to Windows Live Mail

Hi Everyone,

I never received any response to this message, so I figured it didn't make it to the list.

Here are my questions below.

I'm helping a few Window-Eyes users move their contacts from one XP computer with Outlook Express, to a Windows 7 Computer with Windows Live Mail on the new machine.

I need to know where do we find the two contacts files in Outlook Express, and what are they called, please?

And, where do we put these files in the Windows Live Mail program folder, please?

then, do we have to actually import the contacts with some command in WLM?

I don't use either program, so please be very spacific in these instructions, please. <smile>

Thanks much.

Many Blessings,

Pat Ferguson
