Hi Pat

First, you'll want to make sure your previous version of Winamp has been completely removed from your computer. It's one of those programs that leaves traces of itself behind, sometimes this is a convenience thing if you need to re-install it, but it's a real problem if you have a failed install and just want to fix it. So make sure all traces of Winamp have been removed from your system before you do anything.
Ok, now that you've done that,
I've uploaded the newest copy of Winamp to my sendspace pro account so you can grab it from there.

https://www.sendspace.com/pro/dl/cviki1

Note that's a direct link to the file itself.

Once you have that installed, head over to the below link and grab the Winamp scripts written by Jeff Bishop. They have all kinds of extra functionality, far too many things to list here.

If that's not quite enough there are a couple of alternatives as well.

Rod Winamp

or if you want one with an extra clock feature, there's
Rod Winamp with Rod Clock

Hope all this helps!

Hi Everyone,

My WinAmp is not working at all.

The last time I ran it, I got some kind of error message when it wouldn't play something, and I've not been able to run it or associate it with audio files at all.

I had the last Winamp install before the company NulSoft closed, then I guess some other company took it over, but I don't have the latest WinAmp.

If someone could please tell me where to get the latest version of WinAmp, and do I need any additional Window-Eyes Apps to run it?

Thanks much.

Many Blessings,

Pat Ferguson
