If using the Outlook Enhance app, you can modify what is read when you arrow up and down in the inbox. You can find this in the WE apps menu under Outlook Enhance, Mail Header Editor. There also a hotkey to get to it from within Outlook, but I don't recall it at the moment.
The big one I chanced was to stop WE from Saying "From". You can do this for all of the columns if you like. I haven't figured out how to drop the size column altogether yet.
