Hi Jed,
I think the problem is that you don't have contacts in your address book
to automatically fill in.
try
exporting your contacts or address book in a v card format
then
in thunderbird inbox
alt t
then enter
alt h
then arrow left once
then arrow down to import
and enter
then arrow down to
v card now follow the prompts.
Now you are now on your own, because I don't remember. I did this many
years ago.

Hey guys,
OK, a few questions. I have Thunderbird, and love it. Need to figure
out a few things that i'm having trouble finding with window-eyes.
In my old outlook 2010, when i'd type in someone's name, it almost
acted like it would fill it in, sort of like auto complete. that
doesn't seem to work here. Any idea how to enable it?
Also, a critical thing i need to do is import my gmail contacts, can
this be done? I don't see any options to export my contacts.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Jed
