OK, something really weird's going on here. My laptop only has one delete key, and that is the num pad decimal key without the numlock enabled. So, I'm having a really bad issue. Basically, long story short, If I'm in say, Outlook 2013, or Thunderbird, or whatever, if I try pressing that key all by itself to delete an e-mail within the focus, it isn't working. I'm not sure what it's actually doing if anything. I know there is always hitting ctrl+D which most people don't know about, but yes, that will delete the current item, however, I only have a left control key, so that's irritating trying to make my fingers do acrobatics. I'm not trying purposefully to whine. I know it may seem that way, but it's not my entention. I just wonder if there may be another sollution to this issue. It seems like one time when I hit the key, it said no default button. I might be rememberring wrong though. I definitely do know however that the key isn't deleting the messages. This isn't a ma tter either of you won't see them go away until you purge the folder. I'm not using IMap where that would be an issue. I'm using POP3, and do not leave a copy on the server after being polled.
If you're wonderring, ok, then how're you deleting mail on the system you're sending this e-mail from? Remember, I have more than one computer. this system is a desktop xp box, which is running NVDA, so, over here, it's not an issue. it's only on my W E enabled laptop. Any suggestions? this really along with not knowing if metro apps work that well, are really the only two things at this point stopping me from using W E as a primary screen reader on my laptop.
