Hi,
In Skype, go to the tools menu, select options.
Then Press down arrow to move to the privacy node in the tree and press
tab.
You should find what your looking for there.

Some of the conversations I have literally have text chats going 30 to
60 days back! It's insane! What a mess! Personally, I'd like to set
Skype up where it won't even keep chat history, but yeah... I don't mind
getting text chats, just so that I can dump the history. Who wants a
thousand odd messages lingering around from 60, 90, whatever days ago!
OK, I know there are those who do, but I certainly don't. LOL!
