Vipre works great, although when I installed it, it really screwed up my
internet explorer, like, badly! I couldn't download any files, not just
executables, but pretty much nothing would download. If I tried, it would go
for maybe 2 seconds, literally, then would act like it was finnished
downloading, thus, resulting in a very successfully corrupted file. I didn't
change a single setting in my Vipre configuration, I left everything at
default. I did this on two xp machines, and 1 Windows 7 machine, and on all
three of them, I had this issue. Firefox wasn't effected, it didn't seem, but
yeah...

Even after I revo uninstalled it, it still! didn't fix the issue with I E. I
wound up between that, and other issues I was having, having to format the sun
of a guns and start fresh. Suffice it to say, I won't be using Vipre again.
Oh, BTW, Nod32 did the same thing, only not quite as badly. With it, it was
mainly only executibles that wouldn't download. All I can say to you all is,
watch it!

Chris.
