I don't find it a nuisance; I find it to be actually an enhancement to
my security when browsing the web. Some javascript and other code can be
used in malicious ways so this add-on will at least prevent those from
running.

use the no script add on. but it is a nusence though because all web
pages use java scripts on there pages. some links, pdf and music usually
will not load if you block all the scripts running in the background.
but this is the only way to stop the refeshing pages with firefox.

Hi Daniel,
Unfortunately, the ability to stop the refresh is specific to IE; there
is no similar function for FF.

Hi,
I just downloaded FF on my laptop with Windows 7 and WE 8.1 and went to
the youtube.com channel. I know it is not specific to this page, but the
page keeps refreshing every second. How do you stop the refresh, or can
you?
I thought I had read this before, but I was using IE and had not
encountered the problem.
Thanks,
Daniel
