If there is only one attachment, you can turn browse mode off, tab or shift-tab
to where it says the attachment’s filename, button, route mouse pointer to that
button and right-click it. One of the options will be to open the attachment.
But for saving attachments to open later, I use Alt-F, S, A, which opens a
dialog box showing the filename or names, folder where they will be saved, a
Browse button and a couple of others. WLM remembers where you have saved your
attachments from one session to another, so it’s a good idea to check as you
are saving them. Hope this helps.
I have been running WLM for nearly 3 years on this Windows 7 laptop, with over
22,000 messages stored in perhaps a hundred folders going back to 2005. I
don’t try to use threading, conversations, or even the contacts feature all
that much.
I run a Windows sound scheme that makes a click when a program and a
lower-pitched click when a program closes. This can tell you a lot about how
long Windows programs are taking to open, close or conduct some other business.

if you have the WLM app installed you can press ALT plus 7 to get to the button
of your attachment, and if that doesn’t work, turn browse mode on and shift tab
to that butten and hit enter. it should open your pdf file and then you can
save it from adobe

Subject: How to open attachments in WLM

I have the latest WLM, with WE 8.4. My bank sent this stupid PDF file with a
code I am supposed to enter in the website to verify my existance and all of
that. I can’t figure out how to open the thing. Any help appreciated.

Thanks,

Chris
