I have just released a new app, KeyboardActivity!
This app uses a timer to send a keystroke of your choice to the active
window at a regular interval.
The app was originally written to overcome the inconvenience caused by
certain online service software which, for security reasons, log out the
connected computer after a specified period of keyboard inactivity.With
the KeyboardActivity app enabled, a key combination of your choice is
sent to the currently active window every so many minutes, permitting
the user's online session to remain active indefinitely.
The app may be installed using AppGet, or downloaded from the following
App Central web address:

For the benefit of those who served as beta testers, the current app
package has been upgraded from its initial release, with the Added
ability to adjust how status messages are spoken.
