Hi Mike,

Press the Start button, and, in the edit box type sounds. After the search is complete, arrow down to Change System Sounds, and press Enter. This is where youll find the Communications tab. Here, you will find a radio button; set it to "Do nothing," and you're in business. smile

hth,
Rod

Hello Everyone

Recently, there was a short discussion about sound changing by itself. I didn't take much notice because I didn't have the problem at the time. You guessed, I now do have exactly this problem. When I load GwConnect and Skype, the sound drops by about 60 percent.

Can anyone help me sort this out?

With thanks

Mike.
