If it plays out as outlined, then indeed this will be good.
But, as so often is the case with acquisitions and mergers, things don't
always end up as shown on paper sometimes intentionally and other times
due to circumstances beyond the party's control.
I am guessing that in this instance, Doug and Dan, for the best for their
respective families, looked for something that would allow them that would
allow them to continue with their work, at least for the time being, along
with greater financial and legal security.
Hopefully, these ends have been achieved for them and it will evolve as
they anticipate.
