Hi Marvin, although I am not a zoom text user, but do use Window-Eyes for
most things, I can tell you that the zoom text activation, unlike the jaws
ones, allow you to put your authorization back on the server. Only thing we
can do, is wait, and see what happens.

Subject: I suggest looking at AI Squared's site

Good morning. Yesterday I decided to take a peek at AI's site. It really
does seem that GW and Ai really do have similar ideas. I went to the store
and found that they like GW have payment plans. Users can purchase ZT with
an extended support plan that includes upgrades. AI does have 800 call in
numbers. They do a very good job explaining things on their site. I found
that I'm feeling a bit more positive about the future since I decided to
check the company out a little for myself. Now of course many details will
be worked out but i did notice one thing that could effect me and possibly
some other users who have many machines. AI does require activation for ZT.
Their definition for a single user is three machines. If WE is included in
the activation way of doing things I'm in trouble since I have 4 machines
myself and my wife has 1 which I maintain for her. I also have WE on my
dad's machine so I can help him out. I'm certainly not in freak out mode by
any stretch of the imagination. No matter what I'll make all the machines
talk that I need to make talk. Of course I'd like to see GW's user policy
continue for WE but if it doesn't it won't be the end of the world. We all
need to give the new AI Squared a chance to work out the details for the new
company it will be. We all know how hard Doug and Dan worked to build GW
Micro. You don't work that hard on something to just throw it away. Like
Doug has said the two companies have worked together in the past and their
efforts worked well. In any case I'll never forget the GW Micro name. I
might have to keep that last 8.0 cd because it has GW Micro in braille on
the envelope.
