Sorry, this doesn't work for me. When I press the Windows key, all I get is
the search box, and the tab key and arrow keys take me nowhere. I must hit
escape to get to the start button, then hit the alt-F4 to reach the What Do
You Want The Computer To Do selections.

I just started using Windows 7 with 8.4.  To shut down, I hit "start"key,
then hit "u", then hit tab.  this brings up the "shut down"
button.  Hit enter and it shuts down.  Hope this helps.
