It's a Windows 7 machine and Win-Eyes 8.4. I've done something, but who knows what!
In Outlook 2013, no trouble reading the list of messages, but reading the message itself is something else. Read-to-end seems to work, but usually fails to read the first line. The up- and down-arrow keys usually only say blank; so playing back a particular line means you down-arrow once, hear the word blank, then press ctrl-numpad center, and usually you will then hear the line spoken. The Ctrl-left-, or Ctrl-Right-arrow combos work reliably. In MS Word 2013 the situation is the same, though possibly worse. No problems at all with Windows Explorer or with Notepad. I sure hope someone can tell me what to do; guess GW staff aren't likely to be watching the listserv over the weekend.
