I have exactly the same problem, and others with more skill tha n I may be able 
to give more details solutions/steps which may prove helpful.

Apparently it is coding within Google Groups itself with which Window-eyes, 
(and other screen readers), cannot work.  I hope that GW micro has a plan to 
improve google groups access.

Anyone else on here have a good solution for googlegroups and navigating it?  
It seems to have a page that constantly re-loads.  I'll be arrowing down the 
page, and it says downloading page, and it also has this wis a wick thing that 
keeps coming up.  That's what the word sounds like, wiss a wick, or something 
like that.
I'm trying to change my settings for a few groups for notifications.
