Restarting Window-Eyes should be all that is necessary to allow help
systems to work properly again; restarting the computer should not be
necessary. As for edit boxes, I don't have Windows 8.1, only Windows 7,
and so I can't help with that. Sorry. smile

Hi Samuel,
Regarding the help system, sometimes you have to press Control-Shift-A
to toggle browse mode a couple of times to allow the help pages to
load. If help pages are still not loading, then this would affect all
of Windows, in which case restarting Window-Eyes usually does the trick.
