Jart is really a very handy little app to have. I think their up to Jart 50
now which offers automatic spell check as you type. I personally am still
using Jart 45 because I'm one of those guys who likes what he likes and if it
'ain't broke don't fix it, but that's just me. Jart works with WindowEyes and
Jaws. I don't know about the cheaper screen readers though but see no reason
why it wouldn't work well.

Jart can even be ran from a thumb drive so you can haul it around with you in a
pocket or purse.

I've been keeping a Personal Log Sense 1996 and a 16 GB flash drive more than
holds it all.

Jart also lets you call up other text files if your an author and want to keep
a file of all your characters traits etc so you can call them up to consult. I
read this in their documentation however it could be used for other things too
such as project files for a Lions Club activities etc.
