Give it up as WE will not work at a useful level with Open Office.

Hi: I downloaded the latest version of OpenOffice 4.10 on my Windows7 system here at home. I had Java Access Bridge installed, and I activated the accessibility options. I found that it didn't work, meaning, it would not read text that I had typed or dialogs that came up such as when I was asked if I wanted to save the current document. I managed to read these things with the mouse and click on discard. Out of curiosity, I uninstalled Java Access Bridge to see if it would have an impact. Of course, it didn't. Then I reinstalled Java Access Bridge and tried it again. It acted the same way. My question is, why is JAVA Access Bridge not making a diference, and how do I fix that?
