Hi,

Regarding your email issue, I would use funderbird. When you install
Window-eyes and it says GWWEOFFICE as your serial number, that is correct.
It is not running as a demo. It is the full copy. A personal serial
number is not required unless you purchase an add-on such as DecTalk or
Eloquence.

However if it says demonstration copy or times out after 30 minutes there
are two ways to resolve the issue.

Using the Window-eyes diagnostics app:

1. Press control-backslash to open the WE control panel.

2. Press alt-a for the apps menu.

3. press up arrow to move to Window-eyes diagnostics and press enter.

4. Press down arrow to move to Microsoft Office and press enter.

5. Press down arrow to move to "Perform Office license service
modification" and press enter.

6. Follow the prompts and restart. Basically answer yes to run the app and
you may need to answer yes to allow the user account control.

Manually modifying the Microsoft service:

1. Press Windows-R to open the Windows Run dialog, and enter "services.msc"
followed

                by Enter.

2. Tab to the list of services, and locate the "Office Software Protection
Platform"

entry.

3. Press the Applications key to open a context menu, and select "start" if
the

service is not running.

4. Go back into the context menu with the Applications key and select
"properties."

5. Change the startup type from "manual" to "automatic."

6. Close the dialog.

7. Restart Window-Eyes. Please report back if this resolves your issue?

Thank you.

Brendon Donohue.

Subject: An introduction to the list, and, A couple of questions

Hello list,

My name is James Bentley. And, I live in East Texas.

I recently purchased Office Home and Student 2013. I decided to try out the
free copy of Window-Eyes that is now available free with Office. And, since
I am brand new to

window-Eyes, there is a bit of a learning curve.

Any assistance from the list will be greatly appreciated. Here are my 2
questions.

1. Sometimes, Window-Eyes loads up in the demo mode even though it is
registered.

Does anyone know how to fix this? I have reinstalled Window-Eyes 2 times
and I still have this problem.

2. When using WLM, sometimes, all messages in a folder show up as read. At
other times, no read or unread notice shows up at all.

I am also wondering if anyone has run across this problem.

Many thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Cheers,

James Bentley
