I opened up Word and typed

June 25, 2014

and

25 June, 2014.

I use Eloquence Reid, and We spoke the formatting exactly as written. I
switched to Eloquence Justin (What's with that flanged sound) and Justin
spoke the formatting exactly as written.

Maybe an app you installed is causing the problem?

Hey, Yusuf.

I don't think Window-Eyes can change the date format. It only speaks what it
sees. I'm using Win 7 and typed date and time format in the Windows search
box. The result was the region and language property page. From that page, I
don't doubt that I could globally change the way my date and time are
displayed. Why not go in there yourself and see if something is set
incorrectly?

Nope, its happening in everything, word, thunderbird, filenames etc.
