Hi Peter and John,

Note also that using the functionality of the Word Enhanced app, you can, after entering Word Navigation mode using Insert'Z, move to the next and previous comment using N and Shift-N, respectively.

Hope this helps,

Rod

Hello John,

I use and read comments within Word 2010 all the time. Here's how I work with them:

Make sure that you are in Print Preview mode first. Use Alt, w, p to pick that view mode. If you aren't in this view mode, nothing will work right. (A while back, I complained on this list that Window-eyes wasn't working properly for comments. My problem was that I tried to use comments while in the standard edit mode, Alt, w, e. That doesn't work. I only use print preview nowadays.)

Press Alt, r to reach the Review tab on the Ribbon bar.

Then:

Press n to move onto the text of the next comment, or press v to move onto the text of the previous comment.

You can while in the text of a comment press navigation keys (arrow keys, home, end) to read the text. You can also edit the text.

You can while in the text of a comment press Shift+Tab to display a shortcut menu; pick the desired option.

*You can insert a comment anywhere within a document. Press Alt, r, c to bring up a text balloon; type whatever you want; when finished, press the Escape key to finish your comment and exit the comment balloon.*

*I hope this helps.*

I've figured out how to read the list of comments in a Word document (Word-2010). I hit insert-tab and see the list of comments; however, I can't figure out how to actually get in and see the entire comment; some comments have text that's more than I'm seeing. I tried pressing the context key and that didn't work.

Any suggestions?
