On my windows 7 home prmium 64 bit os windows 7 window eyes shows up in my start up tab in msconfig and have never had a dim or no screen when restarting or booting. Have noticed that it only happens when window eyes sounder comes up before windows sounder. If they are kind of close together it does not always happen. have talked to gwmicro and they said it does not happen in windows 8. Did you ever getthis problem fixed if so please let me know.
