Hello Ted
You'll have to use VoiceOver in this case, because in its native state
you can't run window-eyes on it. VoiceOver has some new commands to
learn, but yes, it is possible to do what you want. You'll just
have to learn some new keyboard commands.

Dear List:
I have a chance of getting a telemarketing job where I would need to
key in names and addresses accurately after talking with a person on
the phone. I would be working in the business owners' home. I would
use their Apple computer to key the information into a document. I
would either need key echo or the ability to read a line by each
letter so that I could verify accuracy. Does the speech on an Apple
computer give me this ability? If so, what do I tell the business
owner to do to make the computer talk? On the other hand, if the
Apple computer cannot read this way, can the business owner load my
Window-Eyes CD on the Apple computer and go through the steps of
installing it just like I would on a Windows computer? Thanks for any
help. Regards: Ted Larson
