Hi David,
I am not sure how to answer your question; so, I will explain how I use threads.

In my inbox, I press alt v
then press e
then arrow up to close all threads.
Then I go through my in box, and delete the emails I am not interested or don't know the answer. So, if a thread has 10 emails, you delete them all with one press of the delete key. In your inbox, If you want to open a tread, just press the right arrow to open that thread, and to close it just press the left arrow

Good luck, Manny please help me reach a million clicks by forwarding my stand-up comedy performance to your friends, or Tweet or Facebook it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=75fbevlz10g computer specifications: Window Eyes 8.4, Dell xps420 Windows 7 home premium, with dual boot to windows 8.1, with start8 from: www.stardock.com with 8 gb RAM, Intel q6600 quad core drivers and software updated software recommended: Firefox, Thunderbird, Win Patrol, Roboform,

Original message:
Reading some of the recent email dialogue made me realise that I dont understand threads, how to tag them or how to read them. Can someone enlighten me please or point me to something that will explain them to me. I use Thunderbird email if that is relevant.

Regards

Dave Mawson
