Hi to the list,

I tried to configure the latest gw-connect for a friend who is running windows
XP. My friend is deaf-blind and wants to use gw-connect with his
braille-display. He is jaws-user, so , sorry for this mail could be a little
bit OT. But the problem could be a problem with GW-Connect in combination with
Windows XP: After having configured GW-Connect successfully and logged in with
the skype-Account, the announcements of gw-Connect are spoken by the microsoft
TTS instead of the Eloquence. So, my friend is unable to see the announcements
and chat-messages on his braille wave, after having activated the
speech-synthesizer-mode of the braille device.. I tested the process on my
windows 7 machine with the same hardware and could hear all messages spoken by
the eloquence as well as seeing them on the braille wave. GW-Connect is the
only software on his machine that makes the microsoft TTS getting active. So,
is it possible to make gw-connect use exclusively the
screenreader-speech-synthesize
 r?
Any help would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance and best regards.
