Hi Richard,
Thanks for the support. Actually, the app works for me fine now that I opened IE outside of Sandboxie, a sandbox utility which protects my computer by running all internet-related programs in a sandbox. If you’re interested, go to www.sandboxie.com. I guess I will have to meditate on how to get the app to load within my sandbox. Hmmm. smile Thanks again, Rod From: Richard G Applegate [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, August 01, 2014 4:58 PM To: 'Rod hutton'; 'Darrell Bowles'; 'GW Micro Product Discussion Listserv' Subject: RE: copy text with formating not working with window-eyes |Rod: Perhaps you were not in IE when you looked for the app in your list of running apps? It is specific to IE so it won’t show up unless IE has focus when you invoke the Control Panel. I just uninstalled and reinstalled the IE-Enhanced app. It worked as expected both before and after the removal and reinstall. Upon first press of CTRL-SHIFT-C I am instructed to move to the end of the block to be copied; Upon the second press I get a dialog asking whether I want to copy with or without formatting etc.. Darrell: Could the app be disabled on your machine? Do you have another app or macro that might be steeling the keystroke before the IE-Enhanced app can grab it? I am using Window-Eyes 8.4 on a Win7 Home Premium, 64 bit machine with all IE 11 updates.. The function you are looking for is a feature of this app, and so I think we’re out of luck until AI Squared fixes this. Well, they’re probably working on version 9.0 of WE, and so this promises to be a revamp of browse mode. Perhaps we’ll just have to wait for a wee bit. smile Hth, Rod From: Darrell Bowles [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, August 01, 2014 11:35 AM To: GW Micro Product Discussion Listserv Subject: copy text with formating not working with window-eyes Hello, I am using window-eyes 8.4 and internet explorer 11. I just tried to copy some text with formatting using control shift c. However, nothing happenes. Window-eyes is acting like it does not know about this keystroke. Any help would be appreciated.
