You will not have to recreate anything. Just sign in with your password
and user name. Then just set up Skype to be accessible and off yuour up
and running.

*Subject:*Question About Skype Now That GW Connect Is Gone

Just wondering, if I install Skype while GW Connect is still
installed, will Skype pick up the Contacts I have created with GW
Connect? How about the password? Do I have to recreate all my
contacts with Skype that I had with GW Connect?

    Thanks much.

    Evan
