Hi list. My name is Dewald.
I am a relatively new Window Eyes user.
I took advantage of the Microsoft Office offer.
Anyway, so now I have it installed and it's running at the moment.
I like it in some aspects, and in others, not so much.
But maybe you could help me.
I find that Window Eyes get stuck on occasion, on some webpages.
I clicked on a How-to-Geek article the other day, and wanted to navigate
down the headings, right?
All it said was "H".
I wanted to enable browsmode, but it said that browsmode wasn't
availible. Or whatever.
Then, when I shut down WE, and load another screen reader, it works
perfectly.
And as if Window Eyes can listen to what I'm typing, I wanted to read
word by word in this email message, but it just made ding ding sounds
from Windows.
And when I wanted to read my message, it just made ding noises.
I just shut it down, and started up my other trusty screen reader, and I
could type further.
Redrawing the screen won't work.
I really want to use this great screen reader.
But is there something that I am doing wrong?
Is the browsmode keyboard shortcut controle plus shift, plus "a", the
same for both the regular keyboard layout, as well as for the insert layout?
Thanks.
