He wanted to turn off status changes, IE online and offline messages and have 
chats read.
If you turn off events in Skype Enhance currently  chats get turned off as 
well, so you get chats and status changes or no chats and no status changes..

I suggested he turn off events in Skype Enhance and use Skype Talking due to 
its verbosity configuration options.  So his chat messages would read but he 
wouldn't get status changes.


In this way he would have the best of both worlds.
