For those of you unable to purchase newer versions of Windows, or for
those running XP and having concerns about security issues, may I
suggest that you look at Vinux at www.vinuxproject.org. This is a
version of Ubuntu Linux with a built in screen reader. It has it's flaws and
difficulties, but a minimum of security risks on the internet. And,
it's free, with constant upgrading. It can be run side by side with
Windows XP or Windows 7 and is quite compatible with most current and older
hardware. I use Windows with most of my older software and use Vinux for
internet and email usage.
