It wasn’t the Mobile Facebook that was the problem,I posted the entire thing
there. Social Eyes was the issue. It cut off the post showing zero characters
left. Again, the entire thing posted on Mobile.

I’m sure Mobile has a limit but in this case, the limit wasn’t reached on
Mobile; all of it posted; again, it was SE that cut it off.

Linda,

The API would have a limit. I am unable to post a long post on the mobile
Facebook website.

Thank you.

Subject: Long Status Posts

Okay, I’m sure the answer will be the same, an API issue as it usually is. But
why can I post (copy/paste) a long status from a friend into FB on mobile but
it won’t fit when trying to paste it in my status on Social Eyes. My
understanding initially was that FB limited the number of characters allowed in
a status but since I can post the entire thing in FB Mobile, it seems that I
should be able to post the entire post in my Social Eyes status.

Speaking of API issues, my understanding also, a year ago, was it was because
FB didn’t like to do too much with third party apps until they were at least a
year old, now that Social Eyes is a year, what new improvements are being done?
I’ve not seen an update for ages and this, among other things, I’d think could
at least be consistent with Facebook; if I can post a long status there, then
it should fit inSocial Eyes status edit boxes. Thank you.

Another thing that has never been fixed…and it worked at the start until an
update…is the like function. It says on the outside you have a certain number
of likes but when you go in, it shows zero, and if you’ve been one who liked
something, it says “zero including you”. You can enter on the zero and see who
all has liked it but then why the zero.

Anyway, justs wondering if if any new improvements are forthcoming since we did
pay quite a price to renew. Thanks.
